The video gained attention after being reposted on YouTube, leading to offers of support from viewers, including job offers and donations.
Williams appeared on local radio programs and was interviewed on CBS’s The Early Show and NBC’s Today. He received job offers from the Cleveland Cavaliers and MSNBC for voice-over work. Williams also became the voice behind Kraft Foods’ TV campaign. Despite his newfound success, Williams struggled with alcohol addiction.
